Educational Technology Collaboration Day a Success

Last week the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions (GSEAP) packed the Dolan School of Business dining room to host educators from around the state to share ideas for using technology in the classroom. The event was designed to be an open forum for ed tech professionals to share the tools and best practices they use with fellow educators. Topics shared included use of Google Expeditions, understanding Digital Citizenship and using iPad apps and Green Screen technology.

Joshua C. Elliott, EdD, assistant professor of the practice and director of Educational Technology, shared “It was a great day for educators to contribute their ideas across a wide array of ed tech topics. We had teachers, superintendents, student teachers, professors and graduate students in attendance and everyone had something to contribute. Representatives from educational technology organizations including CTETL and CECA/CASL were also in attendance.” See photos from the event.
