Alumni & Family Weekend 2016: Watch the Video
This past weekend, over 1,200 Fairfield University families and alumni returned to campus for a fun-filled Alumni & Family Weekend. It was a time to reconnect, enjoy, network and to experience our University's proud traditions.
Alumni & Family Weekend is an annual Fairfield tradition that offers a variety of fun activities and special events for students, alumni and families. The weekend was filled with a variety of fun activities and events designed to entertain visitors of all ages: Rugby Fest, Glee Club Concert, Portuguese Fado performance by Mariza, a petting zoo, Fairfield Innovation Expo, Taste of Fairfield and StagFest.

The largest of the events was StagFest, with live music from alumni band, The Adults, featuring Peter Grennan '89, Jim Sheridan '89, Paul Simonetta '89, Gene Tiernan '89 and George Ramirez '91. A variety of food trucks and vendors were on campus for the Taste of Fairfield event including Colony Grill, Old Post Tavern, Super Duper Weenie, Caseus Cheese Truck, Freshii, Taco Loco and many more.
"One of the things I love about Alumni & Family Weekend is the way in which it brings all Fairfield community members together under one roof. Whether you are family, a current student, alumni or just a friend of Stag Country, you are welcomed to celebrate the past, present and future of Fairfield University. The weekend has events for all ages and interests, which is something that is extremely unique," stated Colleen Wilson, assistant director of Student Programs.
Thank you to all those who attended this year's Alumni & Family Weekend. We look forward to seeing you next year!
